A great place to enjoy delicious lunches made with quality ingredients, a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff, and fantastic, generous pizzas made with excellent Italian products. 😍

I was a regular customer at this bakery a few years ago and used to come almost every day when I worked in the area. I had very fond memories of it, especially thanks to the owner's kindness. After a few years away, due to a change in my diet, I returned and simply asked if there was a vegan option for lunch. The person who greeted me immediately reacted very judgmentally, as if my request were completely absurd. Her expression and the way she answered me made me feel instantly uncomfortable. Instead of looking for a solution or offering an alternative, she explained that it was very complicated and even implied that I must have a lot of trouble finding something to eat elsewhere, which is completely untrue. When the conversation turned to the vegetarian options they offer, she even put air quotes around the word "vegetarian," which reinforced my impression that there was an underlying judgment against that type of diet. I then suggested that it might be worthwhile to offer at least one vegan option on the menu. The response was that they were already too busy and that it wasn't feasible. Yet, even a small neighborhood kebab shop can offer a generous vegan sandwich, with falafel and a variety of other ingredients. So I find it hard to understand how an establishment of this size could consider it impossible to offer even a single vegan option. Appearances can be deceiving. Even though this person was a bit more pleasant towards the end of the conversation, it doesn't excuse her attitude at the beginning of our exchange, nor the remarks she made to me. When dealing with customers, responding to a request with prejudice is simply unprofessional. I left with the very unpleasant feeling that my request had been considered that of a "difficult" customer, even though it was phrased politely and respectfully. In 2026, offering only one vegan option doesn't seem like an unreasonable request at all, but simply a way to cater to an increasingly diverse clientele. I am very disappointed by this reception and this lack of openness. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose all desire to return to this bakery, even though I had previously had excellent memories of it.

Top-notch bakery, especially the plain flan and the strawberry cake. Excellent pizza and friendly staff. We finally have a quality bakery in the Herouville and Epron area.
