L'Improviste

I organize road trips, and I chose this restaurant based on its Google rating. Believe me, I give it six out of five! The owner's mother was very welcoming, the service was quick, and the food was excellent (kudos to the chef!). Thank you again for this lunchtime; there were 15 of us, and you added another seat at the last minute without any fuss. Well done and thank you again!

It lives up to its name, "L'Improviste" (The Unexpected). We discovered this family-run restaurant quite by chance. A very warm welcome, homemade food, and a generous plate. They take care of you from beginning to end. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Hello, I wanted to introduce three acquaintances to L'Improviste last Friday evening. We all agreed on the food; no problem there. However, the service was not satisfactory, certainly very different from what I've experienced before. Two of my companions had already arrived; I arrived a few minutes later. The manager saw us enter the restaurant, and we were surprised that she didn't open the door for us. We had barely sat down when the manager asked us if we had ordered an aperitif. She returned just a few minutes later to ask the same question, and then the gentleman (the chef) took our order. I apologize, but we were in the middle of a conversation. Before ordering, there was a chalkboard menu, but I was looking at the wrong side—it was the lunch menu. The manager snatched it from me abruptly, turning around and telling me it was for lunch. Other minor incidents marred the evening. The restaurant was full and very noisy, and the manager was working alone; there was enough work for three people. When it came time to pay, there was no kind word and still no smile. I'm sorry, but I'm not ready to return to this restaurant for the time being. Sincerely.

The pizzas are pretty good! The prices are very reasonable. Nice place.

Superb welcome, very good and homemade food

We went to the restaurant for lunch today and had a very good meal; the pizzas were delicious. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) was a real treat. I highly recommend this very friendly place with excellent service.

Far too expensive for the quality of the food. An extensive menu with €12 starters that are essentially frozen. We got sick after eating there.
