A place of pure enjoyment: the delicious and sublime tarts, the warm welcome, the beautiful presentation, the entire atmosphere inside – it's simply wonderful. While on vacation, we returned every year for the past three years. We are deeply saddened by the permanent closure of La Tarterie. With our best wishes for the future, all the best!

A highly regarded spot for its original and mouthwatering tarts, both savory and sweet. A quality you won't find anywhere else in Caen. Special mention goes to the Persian pistachio and orange blossom tart, as well as the chocolate salted caramel tart.

Longtime loyal customers, and still just as delighted! The tarts are delicious, generous, and above all, homemade. Both the savory and sweet ones are a treat. We even regularly freeze some to have on hand (for the savory tarts). The welcome is always warm. A true gem in Caen—we recommend it without hesitation, thank you for this quality!

Hello, great place! The tarts are absolutely delicious and always made with seasonal ingredients. Very high quality, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling. I highly recommend it. I'll be back at the end of August.
