Back in Caen for the holidays, I had lunch at Pasta i Basta. I just made a wonderful discovery where everything is delicious, and the owner is very friendly and energetic, serving me beautifully presented dishes. The tiramisu was straight from the fridge in a Pyrex dish. I enjoyed it so much that I completely forgot about the heatwave that had been gripping Caen for several days.

Fantastic place! The value for money is excellent, with very generous portions at a very reasonable price. Their Italian-style pasta is delicious, with a wide variety of sauces to choose from: there's something for everyone! ☀️ The service is efficient and the atmosphere is very pleasant, with a friendly manager who makes his customers feel at ease.

Very nice, both the food and the owner. It's rare to find such good value for money, especially with such generous portions. The owner is very kind, energetic, and interested!

I found the pasta overcooked and quite mushy. For €6.90, I expected a more generous portion with more toppings. It's a shame, because the concept is nice.
