The mussels marinière set the tone for the first course: a clear, fragrant broth, plump mussels, perfectly cooked, bursting with freshness. Simple, effective, and incredibly satisfying—unfussy seafood, just the way we like it. The second appetizer, featuring beetroot and goat's milk chantilly, is a true visual and gustatory gem: a delicately crafted cube, topped with a light and creamy chantilly, enhanced by the freshness of crisp beetroot. A subtle balance of sweetness, acidity, and creaminess, all in exquisite finesse. For the main course, the guinea fowl with vegetables, accompanied by a cheese sauce, confirms the high standard: tender and juicy meat, meltingly tender vegetables, and a generous yet perfectly balanced sauce that envelops without overpowering. The kind of dish you finish by scraping (with elegance, of course). In short, La RivaBella offers refined, straightforward, and elegant cuisine, where each dish is meticulously crafted. It's a restaurant where you feast your eyes as much as your palate… and one that leaves you wanting to return.

Never before have such intense gustatory pleasure and a truly present moment been combined as at the RivaBella Restaurant-Thalazur Ouistreham! The staff ensured excellent organization, seamlessly blending service, a high level of interaction, and the smooth flow of the menu at the table. Arriving unexpectedly and almost out of desperation due to the closed restaurants: a very pleasant discovery, both for its excellent value for money (lunch menu) and for the service (thank you, Gabin). I'll definitely be back.

We had dinner on December 24th and were very disappointed by the menu. For €72, the value for money was far from worth it. The amuse-bouche was tasty but there was too little of it. Then came three scallops with leeks; two more scallops would have been appreciated. The biggest disappointment was the veal. It was cooked well, and the side dish was enjoyable, but for the price of the menu, the veal fillet would have been better than the cazy. The dessert was beautifully presented but nothing extraordinary in terms of taste.

I chose the filet de bœuf, with escalope de fois gras and velours de cèpes. I thought the combined flavours delicious. The weakest part of the plate were the pommes grenailles. It was preceded by an amuse bouche of butternut with chestnut. I finished with the 'inspiration du pâtissière', an éclair with chocolate and pistachio.
