Grocery store, tobacco shop (no tobacco), it's a shame the previous owners were so much more serious.

A truly exceptional place! This bar/tobacco shop/grocery store is a real ray of sunshine in the neighborhood. Contrary to what I've read, the owners are always welcoming, smiling, and ready to help, which makes all the difference! To respond to some other comments, I invite you to try working more than 60 hours a week; I'd love to see you there with an unwavering smile 🤩 Whether you're the owner, an employee, or a customer, we're all Homo sapiens, and we can all have our down days/feelings! (Sorry, I'm using complicated words... it means "Human" 😉) Furthermore, for your information, "fights" can happen anywhere, especially when alcohol is sold and some people aren't mature enough to consume it responsibly and behave properly, but I don't understand why the owners should be held responsible?? When you lose your keys, is it always your keychain's fault for not staying where it was? The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you're just stopping by for a coffee, a pack of cigarettes, or a few errands. Activities, evenings, and events are frequently organized, at very reasonable prices and always with a great atmosphere! The place is clean, well-organized, and offers a nice variety of quality, locally sourced products. It's truly wonderful to have such a friendly and professional local business. If you're looking for a place with impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere every time you visit, don't hesitate! I don't shop at the bar, grocery store, or restaurant, but I've been going to this store to pick up parcels since the bakery in our town, which used to drop off Chronopost parcels, closed. What I can say is that the welcome is always good for parcel deliveries, even though that's not the establishment's main business, and it must sometimes be annoying to deal with parcel deliveries while the bar or grocery store is in full swing. Once, I even had someone help me bring some of my parcels to my vehicle. I don't really understand the negative comments; I've never experienced what's described in them.

I 100% recommend it! The owners are fantastic; they're revitalizing the town. Always greeted with a smile, and they're always helpful! They always go the extra mile to make customers happy with little extras: pizza, chicken, or even activities and evening entertainment (at very affordable prices). This fun and friendly atmosphere is truly delightful. All this to say, with the new owners, they're doing a great job for the town! 😊😊

A very pleasant bar, and a very convenient grocery store just 15 minutes from my house. The new owners have brought a fresh, younger, more family-friendly, and very welcoming atmosphere. Go for it without hesitation!

The owners are warm and helpful, the service and welcome are friendly, and the shop brings life to the village. The prices are quite reasonable for a convenience store.

I am amazed by the work done by the new owners!! (Pleasant, polite, very smiley, quick no matter what happens) I highly recommend them!!!

The "boss" was unfriendly, slumped at the bar, and gave the impression we were bothering him with cigarettes, almost as if he were fed up with working. The grocery store was empty and the vegetables were rotten. Having stopped by during our last visit to Normandy a year ago, it seems there has been a change of ownership. A shame, as we had a wonderful time last year, even staying for a drink. A big thank you, though, to the young woman in the grocery department who was clearly the only one making an effort to smile and be polite! Not easy in that kind of work environment. I strongly advise against going there!

I received a very warm welcome from Salomé and Dylan. The bar has several tables both inside and outside. You can enjoy good beers and delicious pizzas at any time. There's a small grocery store attached to the bar where you can find all the necessary products. I highly recommend this bar and grocery store in Tourville-sur-Odon, west of Caen 👍
